   Bambica Studio is situated in Yodfat in the beautiful & wild Galilee area of northern Israel.

  We are a small family business producing handmade, high quality and uniquely designed fragrant items including candles, diffusers, perfumes and natural cold-process soap. Visitors by appointment are very welcome.

Ingredients - suitable for vegans

​

    We use only high quality raw materials & are committed to using natural ingredients where possible. We also believe that using locally sourced ingredients (such as the cold-pressed olive oil and goatmilk from our village) imparts a special quality to the finished product.

  If animal products or animal-derived products are included it is clearly and specifically stated in the description. For example: if a specific candle is made with beeswax or a specific soap contains milk - it will be clearly indicated as 'not suitable for vegans'.

design, packaging and production

  Everything is packaged here in the studio (which includes design and printing) and none of the production is outsourced. 

 Where possible, the packing materials we use are either recyclable or biodegradable and use of plastics kept to a minimum.

what is natural soap?

​

   Our *cold-process soaps are based on vegetable oils and waxes and have no artificial colours or preservatives. You will find that they provide plenty of lather and will not dry your skin.

​

'*Cold-process' is the ancient and traditional method of soap making.  Oils (or fats) are combined with sodium hydroxide (lye) which results in a chemical reaction called saponification.
These types of soaps are rich in natural glycerin which helps to hydrate the skin & forms a protective barrier against irritants.
Bambica Studio soaps may also contain various natural clays and herbs which can impart beneficial qualities and also add to the visual appeal.

   Our candles are made with using a unique recipe which includes a high percentage of natural vegetable waxes and oils such as: soy wax, coconut oil.
 Jar candles are a wonderfully pretty way to instantly add a spot of light and life to any area inside or outside the home - perfect for scenting rooms or a garden area, patio or veranda.
